PTO 2009

There is a most amazing conference held every year (I have not gone yet, although I have heard great things) - Pedagogy and Theatre of the Oppressed International Conference. I am heading down there this year to do a 3 day Legislative Theatre workshop with Augusto Boal. I encourage any one who has an interest in such work to consider this conference at some point in their careers. I truly believe it is important for practitioners to meet, learn from each other and make international connections. I have met a number of people through workshops and conferences who live all around the world, and their knowledge and support is immeasurable.

A new blog!

Hi everyone!

Welcome to ANT's new blogspot. As we are attempting to roll into the 21st century (slowly but surely) we are designing a new website, planning video documenting possibilities, networking ...and this: our blog!

This space will be updated by me (Lindsay Ruth, Program Coordinator/Joker) with the possibility of contributions from other staff and members of the organization as well. I hope that people will visit this site to check up on what's new with the company and recent thoughts and ideas that arise from the work we are doing. I will also be providing links to resources and stories that might be of interest to readers.
